A recent gathering in Madrid united community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Human Rights Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers shared personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how education can strengthen coexistence.
During the event, participants explored themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when supported by education and dialogue.
